Information for authors
How to participate
- Prepare an abstract using the abstract template below (maximum one page, in English).
- Send it by e-mail to the conference secretariat before the abstract deadline.
- You will receive the notification of acceptance by e-mail.
- Prepare the full paper using the paper template and send it before the full paper deadline.
The official language of the conference is English. Both in-person and online presentations are accepted; a video-conference session is organised for registered speakers who cannot travel to Baia Mare.
Preparing your abstract
- One page maximum, A4, in English
- Title, authors, affiliations and e-mail of the corresponding author
- 3 to 5 keywords
- Indicate the conference topic your work belongs to
Preparing the full paper
- Use the paper template without changing the margins, fonts or heading styles
- Recommended length: 4-8 pages
- Figures and tables must be numbered and referenced in the text
- References follow the style used in the template
- Send the paper both as an editable document (.doc/.docx) and as PDF
Presentation
- Oral presentations: 15 minutes plus 5 minutes for questions
- Presentation file format: PDF or PowerPoint
- Online speakers receive the connection details a few days before the conference
Review and publication
All submissions go through a review process. Papers that are accepted and presented at the conference will be published in a BDI indexed journal.
Publication
Following a review process, the papers accepted and presented at IIS2026 will be published in a BDI indexed journal.
A video-conference session is organised for registered speakers who cannot travel to Baia Mare.
